GPPAD Investigator Meeting 2026
WHEN?
– May 5, 2026: GPPAD Extended Steering Committee Meeting (for Members and invited guests only)
– May 6 & 7, 2026: GPPAD Investigator Meeting (for the entire GPPAD team)
WHERE?
Starnberg, Germany (Starnberg is a charming lakeside town near Munich, with stunning Alpine views)

We will share the detailed agenda closer to the meeting date. In the meantime, here is a rough schedule to help you plan your trip:
May 5:
Meetings for Extended Steering Committee members only, starting around 2:00 PM.
May 6:
Investigator Meeting begins at 9:00 AM, followed by a team dinner at 6:30 PM.
May 7:
Meeting starts at 8:30 AM and ends around 2:00–3:00 PM.
A lake boat tour is planned afterwards. If you’re interested in joining, please indicate this in your registration.
Our meeting will take place at the Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg, a hotel in the lakeside town of Starnberg, just outside Munich.

Getting there:

From Munich Hauptbahnhof, take the S6 train (about 30 minutes) plus a 5-minute walk.

From the airport, take the S1 or S8 train to Hauptbahnhof, then transfer to the S6 train (same platform, no change of track). Total travel time is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

If public transport isn’t an option, let us know ahead of time. We’ll cover taxi costs if no other option is available or if it’s cheaper than public transport.
Accommodation
We will book a double room with breakfast included for each participant. Please indicate your preferred dates on the registration form, and we will handle the booking and payment.
Please note that you are responsible for arranging your own flights or train tickets. All related travel expenses will be reimbursed after the event.
