5. GPPAD Investigator Meeting
Munich, 27 May 2019 - Once again, the majority of GPPAD partners from Belgium, Germany, Poland, Sweden and Great Britain met in Munich to coordinate, discuss and exchange information on the ongoing studies during a two-day meeting.
Eli Lilly meets the study centre of the Institute of Diabetes Research
Munich, March 15, 2019 - Dr. Ruth Gimeno, vice president of diabetes research and clinical investigation at Eli Lilly and Company with Over Cabrera, Principal Research Scientist – Islet Biology visited the study centre of the Institute for Diabetes Research (IDF), Helmholtz Zentrum München and met the team around the Director, Prof. Dr. Anette-Gabriele Ziegler and the Deputy Director, Dr. Peter Achenbach.
Cursing in the name of science: campaign to raise awareness for type 1 diabetes begins
Berlin, January 22nd 2019 - This campaign will have impact in Germany: Since January 22, “Sche1sstyp” – a pun, literally “shit type”– has been emblazoned in large letters across 1500 posters in Munich, Berlin, Hanover and Dresden as well as on more than 560 info screens throughout Germany.
