Dresden, December 6th 2018 - For the last time in 2018, GPPAD partners from all over Europe and some representatives of the American sponsor, Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, met for the biannual Investigator Meeting.

Oxford, June 8th 2018 - The GPPAD partners from all over Europe and representatives of the American funders, Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, met to discuss study-related aspects and processes. The two-day Investigator Meeting took place in Oxford this time, also a partner site in GPPAD.

An international research group headed by scientists from Helmholtz Zentrum München has developed a method for calculating the risk for developing type 1 diabetes that is significantly superior to earlier methods.
