Investigator meeting in Oxford
Oxford, June 8th 2018 - The GPPAD partners from all over Europe and representatives of the American funders, Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, met to discuss study-related aspects and processes. The two-day Investigator Meeting took place in Oxford this time, also a partner site in GPPAD.
Improved assessment of the genetic risk of type 1 diabetes
An international research group headed by scientists from Helmholtz Zentrum München has developed a method for calculating the risk for developing type 1 diabetes that is significantly superior to earlier methods.
